MOLONGLO GORGE
Multi-colour screenprint 2005
Edition of 25, 76 x 56cm, $600 (unframed)
My image of the Gorge is a composite of scenes that form a single view. The train is a significant human presence because most people experience the Gorge through its windows. During long sessions drawing, watching fish and water dragons in the rock pools, I came to see the river as a fragile oasis upon which many birds and animals depend, but its integrity and viability is threatened by urban development pressures.
